In the spirit of our ministry, TeenLife Challenge is restoring a life... to an abandoned nursing home. What was once a bustling care facility for the elderly, had succumbed to the aging process itself. A stint as a paintball “war-zone” left only a tattered shell of what had been an important member of the community.

But all that is changing. After being purchased by TLC in September of 2008, this 23,000 sq.ft. / 7.9 acre property is receiving a new lease on life... a second chance to fulfill its purpose. Once again this facility will provide food and shelter, but this time for the men of TeenLife Challenge as they rebuild their lives. When completed, the new TeenLife DeSoto Campus will offer 94 beds, feature a dining hall that can serve 192 and expand TLC’s capacity for rebuilding lives in our community.
